Brian Gottlieb is the Founder and CEO behind a home improvement venture that started on a plastic
folding table in 2009 with just $3,000. What began as a small startup grew into a thriving multi-state
group of companies with 600 talented employees and a value of just under $200 million. Leaf Home
Enhancements acquired his Tundraland business, Jacuzzi acquired his Arizona bath business, and his
leadership team acquired his Renewal by Andersen businesses.
Brian’s business philosophy is straightforward: Have a clear strategy, inspire your team to believe in
themselves, provide best-in-class training, use metrics as a form of empowerment, and execute with
consistency. Clarity creates alignment, and alignment wins. This approach put his business on the INC
5000 list of fastest growing companies, four years in a row. As a reflection of employee satisfaction and
commitment, the business was named the best place in Wisconsin to work.
Outside of running companies, Brian is passionate about helping early-stage businesses get off the
ground as an angel investor and adding value to seasoned businesses by participating with board seats.
He travels the country sharing his experiences and insights through keynote speeches, aiming to inspire
other businesses to realize their potential.
Significantly influencing his leadership journey was Harvard Business School, where Brian attained
alumni status through their executive education program.
In the late summer of 2024, Forbes will be publishing his book on culture and leadership, which will be
available in bookstores and airports across the country.
