Troy Timmer started working in the Home Improvement and Remodeling Industry, working part-time for his father-in-law’s roofing business, in Bozeman, Montana. In January of 1998, Troy left his law enforcement career and went into the Home Improvement Industry full time. He was the proverbial technician suffering “an entrepreneurial seizure” when he started a residential roofing company, with his wife Michelle.
As a home improvement company owner, Troy worked hard but struggled to scale and grow a profitable roofing company. That changed in 2008, when Troy was introduced to Certified Contractors Network at a GAF Wealth Builder Conference. As a CCN member for six years, Troy was able to double his company’s revenue, opened a second location in Montana, and added a high-end window product line.
As a leader, a trainer, and a coach, Troy always had a strong desire to mentor and help other business owners and professionals. In 2012, Troy made the decision to transition as an owner of a home improvement company, to being a mentor in the home improvement industry.
In the 11 years since Troy went from a CCN member contractor to a CCN Performance Coach and Trainer, Troy has worked with thousands of people, helping them achieve success in sales, production management, leadership, business management, and financial independence.
With over 28 years in the home improvement and remodeling industry, Troy has the experience and the passion to transform business owners, sales professionals, and managers from the inside out, by developing a winning mindset, applying principles of success, and proven strategies that will empower them to overcome their biggest blocks and achieve their most ambitious goals.
